I am an Elmore, Minnesota native. I have lived very close to the Iowa border all my life. My husband Roger lived near Ledyard, Iowa.  He  crossed the border to meet me and now we live right on the border, Iowa side. I do cross over every day, as our mailbox sits in Minnesota!

     We have 3 daughters. Brittney, who was recently married to Matthew Looft, Brooke a Senior at NSK, and Brianna, who is in 8th grade at Sentral.  We are a farm family, with cows, cats and kittens, and 2 dogs. 

     I have taught at NK for several years. I have taught Kindergarten, 4th& 5th grade, Title I and this is my 12th year as the Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education (EC/ECSE Preschool) teacher. Prior to NK, I taught Kindergarten & Preschool at Granada-Huntley East Chain School in rural East Chain, and Early Childhood Family Education in Granada, MN.
