I am originally from the Algona area and received my undergraduate degree in elementary education and MS in school counseling from Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN.  I have additional graduate training from Drake, Morningside, and Buena Vista University.  It is a privilege to work as K-12 School Counselor with the students of NSK High School in Swea City, NSK Middle School near Fenton, and both Sentral and North Kossuth Elementary Schools.

My husband, Pat, and I currently farm near Swea City. We enjoy time with our family including Christopher, his wife, Kari, Dawson, Dylan and Kaylee; Jonathan, his wife, Jessica, along with their son, Wyatt; and Benjamin, Katie, and their little boy, Hunter.  Being a grandma is great!   I also enjoy reading, music, traveling, and home renovation projects!
