Preschool Happenings

School Starts Aug. 29th!

Thank you to all who scheduled Home Visits. School /Home communication is so important.  If you should have any questions, please send a note or call and I will get back to you.

Next year we plan to start Preschool when Kindergarten does. We didn't this year due to meetings scheduled at the end of the week.

Preschool does start Monday August 29th at 8:30. It is all day everyday, with structured mornings, lunch,& specials, with daycare as part of the afternoon from 2-3:30. Parents have the opportunity to pick up their child at 2:00. Daycare is free as well. We have 2 paras in the room as well that will be working with your child as well. They are awesome! Mrs. Villarreal and Mrs.Cejka.

I will try to keep updated on the web. If you would like to e-mail me, it is barb.schroeder@nsk.k12.ia.us. Newsletters will be sent home with your child once a month, and communication books daily. The communication books are for things happening in preschool, how your child is doing, and it is for you as parents to communicate as well. Please feel free to volunteer in our room, we just need to have a little heads up when you would like to come in.

I can't wait for the new year to begin.. It is going to be an awesome year!
