North Sentral Kossuth BPA Students Advance To Nationals!
The BPA students at North Sentral Kossuth along with Kelly Herrig - Advisor, and Troy Adams – Chaperone, attended the State Business Professionals of America Conference in Cedar Rapids, IA, on February 21st – 23rd, 2010. Out of the fifteen students that competed at the state conference, five advanced to the national conference in Anaheim, CA, which will be held May 5th – 9th, and 3 other students placed in the top 10 in their events.
In the individual competitions: Rob Vaske - placed second in Advanced Word Processing; Skyler Mino placed second in Advanced Spreadsheet Applications and placed in the top ten in Advanced Word Processing, Sarah Paul placed third and Kirsten Adams placed fifth in Fundamental Word Processing and Marissa Crookshank placed fifth in Keyboarding Productions. The other students placing in the top ten of their events were Brady Blocker and Chelsey Goetz in Keyboarding Productions.
