SUPPLIES NEEDED BY NORTH KOSSUTH ELEMENTARY STUDENTS

For those who will be doing early school shopping, here is a supplies list for K-5 students:

Kindergarten:
1 bottle of Elmer’s liquid school glue
2 large Elmer’s glue sticks
2 large boxes of kleenex
1 rest mat, blanket or towel
1 paint shirt/old t-shirt (optional)
1 pencil box—not a pouch please
Gym shoes—Velcro or slip-on (to stay @ school)
1 pair of  scissors
2 boxes 24-ct. CRAYOLA crayons
1 durable school bag that your child can independently open & close
1 spiral wide-lined notebook
2 double pocket folders (any design with horizontal pockets)
1-pkgs. #2 pencils (prefer yellow) Please sharpen ahead of time.
1 big rubber eraser
1 pkg. of pencil-top erasers
2 box CRAYOLA markers  (broad or thin)
1-cassette tape
1 old white sock

First Grade:
1 Liquid Glue (4oz) & 4 glue sticks
3 large boxes of kleenex
10—#2 Pencils (sharpened)
Gym shoes (velcro preferred)
Crayons (24 colors)
Scissors (fiskars)
3 Spiral notebooks (wide lined-1 red, 1 blue, 1 yellow)
Art box (size 8 x 4 1/2)
2 folders with 2 pockets
2 big rubber erasers
1 box of markers (8 or 10 ct)
1 box quart size Ziploc bags w/zipper
1 plastic recipe box that snaps shut
1 pkg. white recipe cards with or without lines
1 old white sock
2 black dry-erase markers
1 old swimming towel

Second Grade:
1 box markers

4 Spiral notebooks (1 red, 1 blue, 1 green, 1 yellow)
Pencils (#2 lead)

ATTENTION Students (Gr. 1-3 and Gr. 5)
In addition to the items under your respective class, all students also need 3 notebooks (1 red, 1 blue, 1 green) for guided reading.

Elementary girls should have a pair of shorts to keep in their locker.  These can be worn under skirts and dresses at recess or P.E.
