A Little About Me

This is my 5th year of teaching.  I taught 3rd and 4th grades in a combined classroom at Saints Peter and Paul School in West Bend.  Last year I taught K-5 Title I reading and math.  This year I am back with 4th graders and I love it!

My family lives in Fenton.  My husband Kevin works for Stateline Cooperative.  Our oldest son, Trevor, will graduate from Sentral in May.  Our younger son, Tanner, is a freshman at Sentral.  Our cat, Skittles, takes care of the house when we are at school and work.

I love to read and take care of my flowers in the summer.

What Are We Doing In Class?

In Math, we are doing division with and without remainders.  We will also do division with two and three digit answers.

In Social Studies we are learning about the Midwest Region.  Students just completed projects involving soybean recipes and building replicas of the St. Louis Arch.

Science will be way out next week as we begin to explore the planets and outer space.

Big Projects We Have Done This Year

We are researching Lewis & Clark's expedition as part of our study of the Mid-West region.  Students picked 3 topics they wanted to know more about and are busy using the Internet and other research sources to find information.
