TEACHER Appreciation Week

PLAN TESTING- This morning the sophomores will all be in the ICN room to take the PLAN tests.

SPORTS- Today the MS coed track teams will be at Armstrong in a meet that begins at 4:00.

MUSIC BOOSTERS- will meet tonight at 6:30 in the band room. 

RELAY FOR LIFE DONATIONS- Any students participating in the Relay for Life Go for the Gold need to turn

                in their envelopes  today. 

CHEERLEADERS- Anyone who wants to be a football, basketball, or a competition cheerleader next year,

                sign up in the office by Wednesday. 

WEIGHT ROOM-  The weight room will be open M-W-F 6:30 am to 7:30 am  and T-Thurs  3:30 – 4:30 p.m

                starting this week. 

DRAMA- Money for the drama shirts needs to be turned in TODAY.  They are $11 and there are a few

                extras left if anyone is interested in one.

LUNCH MENU- Today for lunch will be creamed chicken & biscuits, peas, and pears.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY- to Kelcey Olson who is 16 today from her brother!

TEACHER Appreciation Week

PRACTICE- This morning all seniors along with the MS/HS band will practice for graduation in the gym during 2nd hour. 

SPORTS- Today the HS coed track teams will be at Armstrong in the John Larson Relays, beginning at 5:00.

                The golf teams will play in a triangular with G-T and H-LP at Graettinger at 4:00.  They are dismissed

                at 3:10.  The JH girls will be having a track meet at Seton (Algona) and will leave right after school

                for the 4:30 meet.

CHEERLEADERS- Anyone who wants to be a football, basketball, or a competition cheerleader next year,

                sign up in the office by tomorrow. 

WEIGHT ROOM- The weight room will be open M-W-F 6:30 am to 7:30 am  and T-Thurs  3:30 – 4:30 p.m

                this week. 

PLAQUES- The 2007 baseball plaques are in the office and are $30 each and the following ordered:

                Shaun, Kyle, Aaron, Tanner, & Shane G.

LUNCH MENU- Today for lunch will be sloppy joes, French fries, and applesauce.

TEACHER Appreciation Week

BACCALAUREATE- Tonight will be baccalaureate for the class of 2008 here at the Sentral gym at 7:00.

                Everyone is welcome to attend.

DANCE TEAM- Today at 2:45, Lifetouch will be taking dance team pictures at NK. 

CHEERLEADERS- Anyone who wants to be a football, basketball, or a competition cheerleader next year,

                sign up in the office today. 

PLAQUES- The 2007 baseball plaques are in the office and are $30 each for the following:

                Kyle, Aaron, Tanner, & Shane G.

TEACHER Appreciation Week

ASSEMBLY- This morning will be the 6-12 awards assembly in the gym at 8:30 AM.  Students and staff will be          

                dismissed at that time.  Today will be the seniors last day of classes.  All teachers need to sign the

                check out sheet and senior lockers need to be cleaned before leaving today.  The seniors will meet

                tomorrow morning at 7:30 in the ICN and practice after that before leaving with their gift baskets.

                Any staff that still needs to put something in the baskets must do so before 8:00 tomorrow morning.

FARM SAFETY- The 4th grade will be attending EPAK at Emmetsburg today from 8:50-2:30.

GRADES- Just a reminder that all teachers need to have senior grades in by 3:00 today.

JH DANCE- The Algona YMCA is having a 6th-8th grade dance Saturday, May 10 from 7:30-10:30 at the YMCA.

                Cost is $5.00 per person.

VB GIRLS- Make sure to turn in your cookie dough sales by Monday to Mrs. Geitzenauer.

LUNCH MENU-Today for lunch will be taco ole’ with toppings and pineapple.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SENTRAL CLASS OF 2008!

SENIORS- The seniors will practice for graduation in the gym this morning, then leave for the day.  Do not

                move the chairs in the gym as they are set for graduation on Sunday.  The last graduation here at

                Sentral will begin at 2:00 for the class of 2008.

STUDY HALL- Nancy’s 8th hour study hall will meet today in the cafeteria.

TRACK- Today the MS will run in their last meet of the year at Titonka at 4:15, leaving Sentral at .

                Tomorrow the HS coed track will run at Lake Mills in the district contest at 10:00.  They will leave

                Sentral at .  GOOD LUCK EAGLES!!

NOTICE- The following students need to see Ms. Rath TODAY: Dillon Bernhard, Kalab VanScyoc, Devin      

                Householder, Kody Parsons, Sierra Wegner, JC Culbertson, Dylan Frink, & Kelsey Gerhart.

HEALTH FAIR- The community health fair will be held Tuesday, May 13 here at Sentral at 7:00 PM.  There will         

                be many door prizes for everyone.  Activities include fingerprinting, lead testing, and many displays

                for everyone to participate in. 

LIBRARY- Students must have all books turned into the library by Friday, May 16 or you will have to pay for

                them.  The library will not be open the last week of school for inventory.

LUNCH MENU-Today for lunch will be pizza, lettuce salad with dressings, & cherry crisp.
